Inaugurated in 1997 by the late-great King of Latin Jazz, Tito Puente,
the
Brownsville Latin Jazz Festival has truly become an important event
in South
Texas' cultural calendar as well as an internationally recognized
music festival
drawing bona-fide Latin Jazz performers and aficionados.
We hope you'll enjoy the Brownsville Latin

Bobby Sanabria will hold a One Man Drum Clinic at UTB/TSC’s SETB Lecture Hall from 1:30 to 2:30 PM on Friday October 17. This clinic/lecture by Bobby is highly recommended for all drummers and percussionists, be they students, teachers and/or performers of all ages. This event is FREE to students and faculty with valid school ID and a $5 per person contribution requested from everyone else.
